Our Second Trademark Secured — GlamBug Class-14 Registered
Just four months into our journey, GlamBug took another confident step: our second brand trademark, this time in Class 14, which covers precious metals and their alloys, jewellery, and precious and semi-precious stones. It officially recognised our name in the field of jewellery.

Class 35 and Class 14: what each protects
Trademarks are registered one class at a time, and a registration protects the name only for what its class and list cover.
- Class 35 is the class for business and trade services. Our first trademark, reserved just weeks after launch, sits here and protects the way we do business. Read about it in Our First Trademark.
- Class 14 is the class for jewellery. This registration protects the GlamBug name in the field of jewellery, such as the chains, anklets and bracelets we supply. The exact goods covered are those listed on the registration certificate.
While the Class 35 trademark safeguarded our business operations, this one protected the jewellery itself.
What it means for you
A trademark shows who owns the name and gives the owner a legal way to act against copies, so that a piece sold as GlamBug really comes from us. It does not by itself certify the silver, which is why we also point buyers to checks that do, such as the hallmark and a purity test. Each trademark protects a different part of the business, and each is a public record you can look up:
- 2022: GlamBug, Class 35, business and trade services.
- 2023: GlamBug, Class 14, jewellery.
- 2026: GemZy, Class 35, our retail brand.
Our goal was never only to sell. It was to build a name that stands for quality and accountability across India and abroad, one layer at a time.
