Privacy Policy
Your privacy and data security are our top priorities at GlamBug
Privacy & Data Protection
This Privacy Policy describes how GlamBug collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you enquire about wholesale supplies of 925 silver jewellery on our website or in the GlamBug app.
1. Data Collection
Business Information
We collect your name, phone number, email, and business details for wholesale enquiries and partnerships.
Enquiry Details
Information about your enquiries and transaction history is stored for business fulfillment and compliance.
2. Third-Party Tools
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand website usage and improve our services. Google Analytics may collect anonymized usage data via cookies.
Communication Tools
Enquiries via WhatsApp or email are handled securely.
3. Cookies
GlamBug uses cookies to enhance your browsing experience and analyze site traffic. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.
4. Data Protection
- Your data is stored securely using industry-standard measures.
- We never sell or share your information, except as required for business operations or with your consent.
- Access is restricted to authorized personnel.
5. User Rights
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us.
- You may opt out of communications at any time.
6. Search by Photo (GlamBug app)
What it does
In the GlamBug app you can take a photo, or choose one from your gallery, to find similar designs in our catalogue. This feature is optional.
What happens to your photo
The photo you choose is sent securely (encrypted) to our servers and used only to find similar designs. It is held in memory just long enough to find the matches and is then discarded. We do not save it, add it to your account, use it for any other purpose, or share it with anyone.
What we do keep
To keep the service fair for everyone, we count how many photo searches an account makes in an hour (up to 20). We do not keep the photos.
Camera and photo access
The app asks for camera access only when you choose to take a photo. When you choose a photo from your gallery, the app receives only that photo, not the rest of your library. You can change these permissions at any time in your phone's settings.
