Video Call Consultation — Choose Your Silver Jewellery Live with GlamBug

For a long time our buyers have asked the same thing: can we see it properly before we order? Video call consultation has been part of how we work, and we announced it formally so every buyer knows it is there.
Updated October 2026 with a buyer's checklist and a step-by-step guide to the call.
A catalogue photo shows a design. A live call shows the finish, the weight, the size, the stone work and the shine, the things that decide whether a piece will sell in your shop. This guide explains how the call works, how to get the most from about 30 minutes, and what to look at while pieces are on screen.
Who the call is for
Anyone buying silver jewellery for their business. You do not need to be an existing customer, and new buyers are welcome. It suits:
- A jeweller or retailer deciding what to add to the showcase.
- A reseller or online seller who wants to see the finish before photographing or promising a piece.
- A buyer who lives far from us and would otherwise have to travel to see stock.
How it works
- Book a slot. Message us on WhatsApp with the time that suits you, and we confirm a slot.
- Join the call. The call runs on WhatsApp video, so there is nothing new to install. Our team shows you the pieces live and answers your questions as you go.
- Confirm your order. We note your selection and share the order details for payment.
Calls are available Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm. A typical call runs for about 30 minutes, enough to look at a good number of designs without rushing.
Preparing for your call
A few minutes of preparation makes the call far more useful.
- Know your customers and your budget. Tell us who buys from you, what they usually spend and what sells in your market. We can then suggest what tends to move, and show you the right pieces first.
- Decide your categories. If you already know you want chains and earrings, say so. If you are open, we will start with the catalogues that fit your customers.
- Bring your shortlist. If you have browsed the B2B app or a catalogue, note the design codes you liked. We can pull them up first.
- Keep the minimum in mind. In the app, wholesale buyers see a minimum order of 100 g per order, with mixed categories allowed. Knowing it helps you plan how much to look at.
- Check your signal and light. A steady connection and a bright room make the video clearer for you.
A buyer's checklist for the call
Jewellery looks different on a screen than in a photo, and the call is your chance to look for the details that matter. Here are the things worth asking to see.
Finish and shine
- Is the finish even across the piece, with no patches or dull spots?
- Does the colour match what you expected from the catalogue, for example the deep black of black rhodium or the warm tone of gold plating?
- Ask to see the piece turned in the light, so you can judge its shine from different angles.
Weight and size
- Ask for the weight of the piece. Silver jewellery is priced by weight, so it tells you about the price as well as the feel.
- Ask to see the size against a hand, a neck or an ear, so you know how it will look on a customer.
- For chains, check the length. Our Dokiya chains, for example, come in 16 + 2 inches.
Build and detail
- Look at clasps, hooks and locks, and ask us to open and close them on camera.
- For stone work, check that the stones sit evenly and securely.
- Look at the edges and the back of the piece. A well-finished piece is smooth where it touches the skin.
- Ask about any hallmark or marking on the piece, and ask us to show it.
Fit for your customers
- Would your customer wear this daily, or only on occasions?
- Does it fit the price your customers usually pay?
- Does it look different from what you already stock?
Compare side by side
One advantage of a live call is that you can compare. Ask us to show two or three similar designs together, such as two kadas in different weights or two chains in different patterns. Seeing them next to each other usually settles the choice faster than any photo.
After the call
When you are ready to order, we note your selection and share the order details for payment. We accept every payment mode that suits you as a buyer.
Then the usual process follows:
- Dispatch within 0 to 1 business days of confirmation. Orders confirmed before 3:00 PM from Monday to Saturday go out the same day.
- Delivery in an estimated 2 to 5 business days across India. We currently ship only within India.

- Claims: a piece that arrives damaged or defective can be claimed within 48 hours of delivery. The terms are on our Returns and Refunds page.
Call, app or WhatsApp?
All three work, and many buyers use them together:
- Use the B2B app to browse the whole catalogue and see your rates.
- Use a video call to see the pieces properly and get advice before a bigger order.
- Use WhatsApp for quick questions and to book a slot.
