Many of our buyers have a brand of their own, or want one. White Label and Private Branding at GlamBug is how you put your name on our craftsmanship, without setting up a factory.

Updated October 2026 as a planning guide.

This guide explains what white label and private branding mean, what you get from us, how the process works and what to prepare before you start, so your first conversation with us is short and productive.

White label and private label: the difference

The two terms are often used loosely, so it helps to separate them:

  • White label means you choose finished designs from a manufacturer and sell them under your own brand. The design already exists and is already selling; the branding is yours.
  • Private label means the product is made for your brand alone, often with designs, details or finishes that you specify.

Many jewellery brands begin with white label, because it lets them launch quickly with designs that already work, and add custom pieces as the brand grows. At GlamBug you can start at either end: choose from designs already in our range, and discuss custom designs if you have something specific in mind.

What you get

  • Proven designs. Start from designs that already sell, instead of developing a range from scratch. That avoids the cost and delay of developing a range from scratch.
  • Your tags and labels. Branded tags, pouches and boxes, so the piece arrives as yours.
  • 925 sterling quality. The same silver and finishing standard we apply to our own range.
  • Direct with the maker. You talk to the team that makes the pieces, with no middlemen in between.

What "your brand on it" can mean

Branding is more than a logo, and each part of it shapes how a customer sees your label:

  • Tags and labels carry your name and your details on the piece itself.
  • Pouches are what a customer handles first when they open a parcel.
  • Boxes matter most when jewellery is bought as a gift.
  • The parcel itself. If you sell online through our partner programme and your account is set up as white label, the sender printed on the parcel and its label shows your own business name and phone number, not ours. This has been the rule since 10 October 2026. See how this works for developers in the Partner API guide.

Exactly which options suit you depends on your range and your quantities, which is why the process begins with a conversation.

How it works

  1. Share your plan. Tell us your brand, your audience and the pieces you have in mind.
  2. Agree the range. We confirm designs, branding options, quantities and timelines.
  3. We make and pack. Your order is made, finished and packed with your branding.

What to prepare before you contact us

You do not need a finished brand to start, but the more you know, the faster we can quote.

  • Your brand name and a simple description. Who are you selling to, and what do you want the brand to stand for?
  • Your customers and price level. A label for everyday buyers needs different designs and weights than one for gifting or occasions.
  • The categories you want. Chains, earrings, bracelets, rings and more, or a single focus.
  • Your branding materials. A logo, your colours and any packaging ideas you already have.
  • A rough quantity and timing. You do not need an exact number. A range and a date help us plan.
  • Any requirements you have to meet, such as hallmarking. Tell us when you place the order, so we can plan for it.

Planning your first range

A few principles help a young brand:

  • Start focused. A smaller range that you can photograph well and promote clearly usually works better than a large one you cannot tell stories about.
  • Look at the weights. Silver jewellery is priced by weight, so the weights of the designs you choose shape your price ladder. Our catalogue posts show the real weight spread of each range, for example the Dokiya chains and the Candy earrings.
  • Choose a finish that fits the brand. Black rhodium reads modern and bold, and gold plating reads warm and festive.
  • See before you commit. A video call lets you look at the pieces live before you decide.

Quantities and timelines

We do not publish a fixed minimum, because it depends on the design and on the branding you need. Share your plan on WhatsApp and we will quote. Timelines also depend on the range and the quantity, and we confirm them before you commit, so there are no surprises.

Who it suits

  • A boutique starting its own label.
  • An online seller moving beyond reselling, who wants customers to remember the brand and not the supplier.
  • A jeweller who wants a house brand alongside the pieces they already stock.

If you only want to sell GlamBug designs without your own branding, dropshipping lets you do that without holding stock.
